At the Lutheran Church of the Cross, we are pleased to offer Confirmation Classes for students in 6th to 8th grade. The first year students study for their 1st Communion. In the final year students prepare for making their personal statement of Christian faith during the Confirmation worship service. Classes are typically on the 1st and 3rd Thursday evening of each month from 6:45-8:00pm. First class for this new school year begins on October 5.

Confirmation subjects include: 10 Commandments, The Lord’s Prayer, The Apostles’ Creed, Holy Communion, Holy Baptism. During each class the students learn the foundation of the Christian faith, become more familiar with the Bible, have freedom to ask tough questions, and typically have a good time growing in faith with new friends their same age.
